AANNY August Featured Artist Reception

The Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) will host a reception to honor Pat Palmer, AANNY’s featured artist for August, on Saturday, Aug 6, from 1 to 4 pm, at the AANNY building at 119 West Main Street, in Sackets Harbor.

Pat Palmer has enjoyed drawing and painting since she was a child. After raising her children and the passing of her father, she devoted more time to her work. Since then she has become a self-taught painter, learning technique online and in books to further develop her natural talent. Palmer has dabbled in oils but prefers to paint with acrylics. In her spare time, she volunteers at AANNY and at hospice, in honor of her father.

AANNY will showcase Palmer’s work throughout the month of August. If you’re interested in viewing some of her artwork, the AANNY gallery will be open throughout the month on Wednesdays and Sundays, from 10 am to 4 pm; and on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 10 am to 7 pm.
