North Country Authors Book Fair

Hay Memorial Library and the Sackets Harbor Ballroom will host a North Country Authors Summer Book Fair on Saturday, July 30, from 11 am to 5 pm, at the Ballroom, located at 103 West Main Street, in Sackets Harbor.

This one-day book fair will feature readings, discussions, book sales, and signings by a number of local fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and children’s book authors including:

• Marcia Moore, reading her book “Bonnie’s Scary Escape” at noon;
• Aline Newman, reading her book “Crooked Neck: The Lone Loon” at 12:30 pm;
• Stephen Cohen, reading his book “Birdies, Birdies” at 1 pm;
• Linda Warrington Saraceni, reading her book “Scout About” at 1:30 pm;
• Natali Amato, reading from her poetry collection “Burning Barrel” at 2 pm;
• Dale Hobson, reading from his poetry collection “Light Year” at 2 pm;
• Dan Kantak, reading from his poetry collection “A Rumor About Shooting Stars” at 2 pm; and
• Keith Arbour, the Sackets Harbor Historical Society’s featured author discussing his work with the Village to publish the illustrated booklet “Founding Documents: Sackets Harbor, New York” at 4 pm.

The Summer Book Fair is a free event, and the public is welcome to attend. The event is sponsored by Hay Memorial Library and the Sackets Harbor Ballroom.
