Saturday Crafts at the Navy Yard

The Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site will host a Saturday Crafts at the Navy Yard event, on Saturday, Aug 12, from 10 am to noon, at the Battlefield Navy Yard, located just off West Main Street.

This craft day activity has not yet been announced, but previous Saturday Crafts events have included kite making and painting various objects, including wooden houses, sailboats, and teapots. This event will have a similar theme.

The Saturday Crafts series at the Battlefield is new this year and is designed to engage children in creating a souvenir while learning a bit of history. The events and craft materials are free, and the public is welcome to attend.
