Story Walk on National Trails Day

The Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site and the Hay Memorial Library will hold a Story Walk in honor of National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4, from 10 am to 1 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield’s picnic pavilion.

Celebrate National Trails Day with a Story Walk along Sackets Harbor’s nationally-recognized historic trail, while reading a special storybook’s pages posted along the way. This year’s selection is Snail Crossing, a charming story by Corey Tabor.

The event is free, and the public is welcome to attend. The starting point is the Picnic Pavilion, right next to the Hill Street parking lot. The Library will also have Take + Make Crafts available at the Red Barn.
