Watercolor Workshop at the Arts Center

The Sackets Harbor Arts Center will host a Watercolor workshop on Saturday, Aug 12, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the AANNY building, at 119 West Main Street.
Instructor Craig Anderson will teach participants the process of creating a painting in this one-day workshop, beginning with a roadmap. Developing a plan and progressing through multiple “value sketches” will increase participants’ odds in crafting successful, and possibly award-worthy, paintings that match or surpass the reference photos they may have started with.
The Watercolor workshop is open to anyone aged 10 or older. The fee is $80 for Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) members and $85 for non-members. Participants should register with the Arts Center in advance. The Arts Center will provide a list of workshop materials needed and the itinerary for the day at the time of registration.
