DESCRIPTION:The Sackets Harbor Historical Society will continue its 2026 Concerts on the Waterfront series with Atlas\, performing on Sunday\, July 19\, from 3 to 5 pm\, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield\, located at 504 West Main Street. \nAtlas is an upbeat musical group performing a variety of genres\, from 80s party music to soul and rock. The band was formed in 1981 as the Atlas Linen Company\, and it has opened for many prominent performers through its history\, including Michael McDonald\, Chaka Khan\, Kool and the Gang\, Patty LaBelle\, and Earth\, Wind and Fire. \nThe Historical Society’s Concerts on the Waterfront series run on Sunday afternoons\, from June 28 through Sept 6\, 2026. Like all those in the series\, this concert is free and open to the public. It’s held outdoors at the Battlefield\, so remember to pack your picnic blanket or lawn chairs. \nIn case of bad weather\, the concerts will be moved to the Parish Center at St. Andrew’s Church\, which is located at the corner of East Main and Woolsey Streets. DESCRIPTION:The Brew York Festival will return to Madison Barracks in Sackets Harbor for its 10th year on Saturday\, Aug 22\, from 11 am to 10:30 pm\, celebrating outdoor music\, craft beer\, and artisan food. The theme for this year is “A Decade on Tap\,” celebrating 10 years of Brew York festivals. \nAmid the natural beauty of Lake Ontario and the iconic history of Madison Barracks\, Brew York aims to provide the ultimate music festival atmosphere for the artists\, fans\, and community to enjoy. Each year\, the festival includes bands performing a variety of genres\, including Rock/Southern Rock\, Alt Rock/Post Grunge\, Country\, Soul/Neo Soul\, Folk Rock/Americana\, Funk\, and Dance. \nIn 2026\, Brew York will again feature two stages to showcase the array of non-stop musical talent the organizers have lined up\, including: \n\nBlacktop Mojo\nMike Powell & The Echosound\nThe Strictly Hip\nJosh Cox & The Rattle Snakes\nUndefeated\nWhen We Were Thirty\nSydney Irving & The Creatures\nThe Rollin Rust\nQuince & The New Paris\nRansom\n\nIn between musical sets\, attendees can participate in a variety of activities for adults and children. Kids can visit the Kids Zone with bounce houses\, face painting\, temporary tattoos\, yard games\, and more. Adults can enjoy free samples and tastings\, from 1 to 4 pm\, from more than 30 area breweries\, wineries\, and distilleries\, plus join in this year’s cornhole tournament\, games\, and more. SUMMARY:Bash-4-Cash at the Legion
DESCRIPTION:The Sackets Harbor American Legion will host its annual Bash-4-Cash on Saturday\, Aug 22\, from 1 to 3 pm\, at its location at 209 Ambrose Street. \nThe Bash-4-Cash will feature food\, drinks\, and beer\, but the real draw will be the more than $56\,000 in cash prizes you can win! The Legion has 1\,500 tickets available for purchase throughout the spring and summer\, and you do not need to be a member to purchase tickets or attend the event. Each ticket costs $50 and is valid for up to two people (age 21 and up) to attend the event. \nThe Legion will hold 34 cash drawings at the Bash\, and the first place ticket holder will leave with $25\,000! For the cash prizes\, tickets holders do not need to be present. DESCRIPTION:Concerts on the Waterfront #Separator Village of Sackets Harbor\, NYThe Sackets Harbor Historical Society will continue its 2026 Concerts on the Waterfront series with the 10th Mountain Division Army Band\, performing on Sunday\, Aug 30\, from 3 to 5 pm\, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield\, located at 504 West Main Street. \nA perennial favorite\, the 10th Mountain Division Army Band is composed of 41 soldier-musicians\, capable of performing in a variety of configurations\, styles\, and venues. Based on Fort Drum\, the musicians perform a wide range of standard concert band literature\, including marches\, Broadway hits\, jazz standards\, classical works\, and popular music. \nThe Historical Society’s Concerts on the Waterfront series run on Sunday afternoons\, from June 28 through Sept 6\, 2026. Like all those in the series\, this concert is free and open to the public. It’s held outdoors at the Battlefield\, so remember to pack your picnic blanket or lawn chairs. \nIn case of bad weather\, the concerts will be moved to the Parish Center at St. Andrew’s Church\, which is located at the corner of East Main and Woolsey Streets. DESCRIPTION:Prep for the Boston Marathon with a challenging qualifier race at the 4th annual Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday\, Sept 6\, at 7 am\, beginning and ending at the Madison Barracks Polo Grounds in Sackets Harbor. \nAfter a fantastic debut in 2023 with more than 500 participants and increasing numbers of runners each year since\, the Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon is back for its fourth year! The organizers have designed a scenic race course that travels through the picturesque Village of Sackets Harbor and along Lake Ontario. The course is an out-and-back route with a gentle elevation gain\, which then heads back downhill towards the finish line. \nThe full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier\, and both the full and the half marathon are certified courses. The full marathon course is 26.2 miles\, and the half marathon is 13.1 miles. \nRegistration is $129 for the half marathon and $139 for the full marathon\, and discounts are available for early registration and military/first responders.
