Joint Annual Meeting at the Union Hotel

The Sackets Harbor Historical Society and the Sackets Harbor Battlefield Alliance will hold their joint annual meeting on Thursday, March 13, at the (former) Union Hotel, at 401 West Main Street.

Lieutenant Colonel Dan Brady, from the 41st Engineer Battalion of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, will serve as the guest speaker for the meeting, and he’ll discuss the Fort Drum-Sackets Harbor Community Snap Link Program and provide an update on future Battlefield growth.

The Sackets Harbor Historical Society has worked for more than 40 years to preserve and protect village history, with a special focus on its architectural heritage. The Battlefield Alliance supports interpretive programming and battlefield preservation at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site. Both organizations will accept new members and current member renewals at this meeting. Refreshments will also be provided.
