Concerts on the Waterfront: The Large Flowerheads

The Sackets Harbor Historical Society will continue its 2026 Concerts on the Waterfront series with The Large Flowerheads, performing on Sunday, Aug 2, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, located at 504 West Main Street.
The Large Flowerheads bring to life the sights and sounds of the groovy 1960s. Their repertoire includes songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher, Dusty Springfield, The Mamas & The Papas, The Monkees, and many more. The band is named after a carton of artificial flowers, spotted in a warehouse rehearsal space in Lehigh Valley, PA.
The Historical Society’s Concerts on the Waterfront series run on Sunday afternoons, from June 28 through Sept 6, 2026. Like all those in the series, this concert is free and open to the public. It’s held outdoors at the Battlefield, so remember to pack your picnic blanket or lawn chairs.
In case of bad weather, the concerts will be moved to the Parish Center at St. Andrew’s Church, which is located at the corner of East Main and Woolsey Streets. The Historical Society will announce if a concert’s being moved on its Facebook page on the afternoon of the concert.
For more information on the concert series, please visit the Concerts on the Waterfront event page on our website, the Sackets Harbor Historical Society’s website, or its Facebook page. You can also find highlights and entire performances from last year’s Concerts on the Waterfront series on the Historical Society’s YouTube channel.
We hope to see you at some, or ALL, of the concerts this summer!
