18.12 Challenge and Half Marathon

The Village of Sackets Harbor will host the 12th annual 18.12 Challenge and Half Marathon on Sunday, June 8, beginning at 7:30 am. The event starts and ends at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, at 504 West Main Street.

Accept the challenge! The Sunday event is either an 18.12-mile run or a 13.1-mile, half marathon run that starts and ends at the historic Battlefield in Sackets Harbor and loops around the picturesque village and shoreline in between. Thanks to their presenting sponsor, the 1812 Brewing Company, organizers are also offering a 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, June 7, beginning at the Battlefield and ending at 1812 on the Lake.

For anyone looking for an extra challenge, they can register to participate in the Patriot Challenge (the 5K on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday) or the Victory Challenge (the 5K on Saturday and the full 18.12 Challenge on Sunday). Participants who complete these challenges will receive an additional medal to commemorate their achievements.

The registration fee varies from $94 to $138, based on which race(s) a competitor signs up for and when the competitor registers.
