18.12 Challenge and Half Marathon

The Village of Sackets Harbor will host the 13th annual 18.12 Challenge and Half Marathon on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 7:30 am. The event starts and ends at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, at 504 West Main Street.

Accept the challenge! The Sunday event is either an 18.12-mile run or a 13.1-mile, half marathon run that starts and ends at the historic Battlefield in Sackets Harbor and loops around the picturesque village and shoreline in between. Thanks to their sponsors, the organizers are also offering a 5 Mile Run plus a 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, June 27, beginning and ending near the 1812 Brewing Company.

For anyone looking for an extra challenge, they can register to participate in multiple races at a discount. Participants who complete these multi-race challenges will receive an additional medal to commemorate their achievements.

The registration fees for the Half Marathon begin at $73, and the full 18.12 Challenge fees begin at $94. The fees are based on which race(s) a competitor signs up for and when the competitor registers.
