1812 Living History Re-enactment

The Sackets Harbor Battlefield will feature a series of free Living History events throughout the summer, beginning Memorial Day (Monday, May 30) and continuing through New York State’s Official War of 1812 Observance Day on Saturday, September 24.

For this mid-summer event, The 1812 Marines will perform a re-enactment, portraying life during the War of 1812, on Saturday, August 20, from 10 am to 1 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, located at 504 West Main Street.

See the past come to life, and discover the stories of those who braved New York State’s northern frontier 200 years ago in war and peace.
