Zentangle Art Class at AANNY

The Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) will offer an introductory class to the Zentangle Method of Art on Thursday, Aug 18, from 2 to 4 pm, at the AANNY building, located at 119 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor.

Zentangle is an easy to learn, fun, and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. If you can draw a line or sign your name, you can do this form of art. No artistic experienced required.

Patty Virginia, a certified Zentangle instructor, will guide this two-hour class, where participants will learn the Zentangle Method of drawing, basic tangle patterns, terminology, and techniques. If time permits, participants will complete two Zentangle tiles.

This class is open to all, ages 17 and up, and all supplies are included. AANNY offers this class to its members for $35, and non-member registration is $40. Payment is due at the time of registration.
