Art and Poetry Walk

Hay Memorial Library and the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site will hold an Art and Poetry Walk as part of New York State’s Path Through History Day on Saturday, June 17, from 10 am to 1 pm, at the Battlefield.

Enjoy artwork and poems from the Library’s Great Lakes Series including work by artists and poets Dale Hobson, Dan Kantak, Lawrence Barone, Greg Lago, Marina Loew, and participants in the 2023 workshop series.

The event is free, and the public is welcome to attend. The starting point is the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, located at 504 West Main Street. Parking is available near the entrance and in a nearby lot off Hill Street.
