Comedy and Live Music for Eclipse Weekend

The Sackets Harbor Ballroom will host comedy shows by Comedian Brendan Eyre and live music by Annie in the Water on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 4 pm, at 103 West Main Street. Brendan Eyre will perform two shows at 4 pm and 6 pm, and Annie in the Water will perform one show at 8:30 pm.

Brendan Eyre’s laid-back, relatable mix of observational and personal comedy has proven to be a hit with audiences around the country. He has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC, Comedy Central, Gotham Comedy Live, and Dry Bar, and he’s a regular on Sirius Satellite Radio. His comedy has racked up over 20 million views on TikTok, and his debut album Desiree was a hit on both the Billboard and iTunes comedy charts.

Annie in the Water is an Americana Indie Rock band that found its roots in acoustic guitars without limits, and their music spans multiple genres including rock, funk, reggae, hip hop, soul, dancebeat, and jam. The band’s performance in Sackets Harbor will be the penultimate stop on their Road to Totality 2024 Tour.

These shows are part of the Village of Sackets Harbor’s festivities, leading-up to the Total Solar Eclipse, on Monday, April 8, and they’re sponsored by the Sackets Harbor Ballroom and Live at the Bandstand Inc, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing live music and entertainment to the community, as a means to connect people across cultural and political divides.

Tickets for an individual show are $25, if purchased online in advance of the event, or $30 at the door. Combo tickets that include one performance by Brendan Eyre and Annie in the Water’s performance are $40.
