Comedy Shows for Eclipse Weekend

The Sackets Harbor Ballroom will host two comedy shows by nationally-headlining comedian Brendan Eyre on Friday, April 5, at 6 and 8 pm, at 103 West Main Street.

Brendan Eyre’s laid-back, relatable mix of observational and personal comedy has proven to be a hit with audiences around the country. He has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC, Comedy Central, Gotham Comedy Live, and Dry Bar, and he’s a regular on Sirius Satellite Radio. His comedy has racked up over 20 million views on TikTok, and his debut album Desiree was a hit on both the Billboard and iTunes comedy charts.

The comedy shows are part of the Village of Sackets Harbor’s festivities, leading-up to the Total Solar Eclipse, on Monday, April 8, and they’re sponsored by the Sackets Harbor Ballroom and Live at the Bandstand Inc, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing live music and entertainment to the community, as a means to connect people across cultural and political divides.

Tickets for the shows are $25, if purchased online in advance of the event, $30 at the door, or $40 for combo tickets that include a show by Brendan Eyre and a performance by jam band Annie in the Water on Saturday, April 6.
