2024 Concerts on the Waterfront

The Sackets Harbor Historical Society will continue its 2024 Concerts on the Waterfront series with Ménage à Soul, performing on Sunday, Aug 4, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, located at 504 West Main Street.

Ménage à Soul is a high-energy dance band based in Central New York that performs an eclectic blend of Retro Soul, RnB, Disco, Rock, and modern dance and party hits. The band’s name, which translates to “Household of Soul,” personifies the feeling of family and the passion for music the members share with their audiences. Their influences, instrumentation, talents, and upbeat nature create stage performances that are interpersonal, captivating, entertaining, and fun!

The Historical Society’s Concerts on the Waterfront series run on Sunday afternoons, from June 30 through Sept 1, 2024, and this year’s theme is “Here Comes the Sun”. Like all those in the series, this concert is free and open to the public. It’s held outdoors at the Battlefield, so remember to pack your picnic blanket or lawn chairs.

In case of bad weather, the concerts will be moved to the Parish Center at St. Andrew’s Church, which is located at the corner of East Main and Woolsey Streets. The Historical Society will announce if a concert’s being moved on its Facebook page on the afternoon of the concert.

The concert by Ménage à Soul is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
