2024 Concerts on the Waterfront

The Sackets Harbor Historical Society will continue its 2024 Concerts on the Waterfront series with local band KEX, performing on Sunday, July 14, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, located at 504 West Main Street.
KEX is short for The Kevin Elliott Experience, and Kevin Elliott is a talented pianist, singer, and trombonist. Throughout his musical career, Elliott has performed in at least six different bands, written original compositions, and toured on the road with three of the bands. He currently performs with the jazz band, Segue, as well as with musicians from the Watertown Lyric Theater as KEX.
The Historical Society’s Concerts on the Waterfront series run on Sunday afternoons, from June 30 through Sept 1, 2024, and this year’s theme is “Here Comes the Sun”. Like all those in the series, this concert is free and open to the public. It’s held outdoors at the Battlefield, so remember to pack your picnic blanket or lawn chairs.
In case of bad weather, the concerts will be moved to the Parish Center at St. Andrew’s Church, which is located at the corner of East Main and Woolsey Streets. The Historical Society will announce if a concert’s being moved on its Facebook page on the afternoon of the concert.
The KEX concert is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
For more information on the concert series, please visit the Concerts on the Waterfront event page on our website, the Sackets Harbor Historical Society’s website, or its Facebook page. You can also find highlights and entire performances from last year’s Concerts on the Waterfront series on the Historical Society’s YouTube channel.
We hope to see you at some, or ALL, of the concerts this summer!
