Easter Sunrise Service

The Sackets Harbor Area Ecumenical Council will hold an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 5, at 6:30 am, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, located at 504 West Main Street.

This has been an annual event in Sackets Harbor for more than 40 years, and the public is welcome to attend. The special service at dawn celebrates the Easter resurrection. Following the service, the United Presbyterian Church will host a Pancake Breakfast in its Fellowship Hall, from 7 to 9 am. The breakfast is free, however, donations are very welcome.

For anyone unable to attend the village’s Easter Sunrise Service, our local churches are also offering services later in the day. St. Andrew’s Catholic Church will hold its regular mass with a blessing of the children’s Easter baskets at 10:30 am. The United Presbyterian Church will hold its regular Easter service at 10 am, which congregants may attend in person or online via the Church’s live stream.
