Forest of Fear at Outskirts 1812

Outskirts 1812 will host its third annual “Forest of Fear” event over six scary nights leading up to Halloween with music, history, and more at 14211 Dodge Avenue, in Sackets Harbor. The six nights of the Forest of Fear event are:

• Friday, Oct 10
• Saturday, Oct 11
• Friday, Oct 17
• Saturday, Oct 18
• Friday, Oct 24
• Saturday, Oct 25

Put on your best Halloween costume and come out to Outskirts 1812’s Forest of Fear! The event begins at 5:30 pm each evening with pumpkin carving with the Outskirts’ goats, food from local food trucks, and live country music. As dusk falls, guides will lead visitors first to the fire pit to hear ghost stories and tales of the past and then along the haunted trail, which comes alive with spooky happenings (best for ages 12 and up).

Tickets for the event are: $15 for ages 12 and up; $10 for children ages 5 though 11; and free for kids under 5. They can be purchased online at the Outskirts 1812 website.

Outskirts 1812 recommends that visitors please wear proper footwear (sneakers or boots), as they’ll be walking on a natural walking trail after being dropped off by wagon. Also please remember to bring or wear a sweatshirt or coat, as the nights are getting cooler now that fall is finally upon us.
