Great Lakes Poetry 2023: Part 1

Hay Memorial Library is proud to present this year’s Great Lakes Poetry Series on Saturday, April 22 and Saturday, April 29, from 1 to 5 pm both days, at the Sackets Harbor Visitor Center, located at 301 West Main Street.

Held during National Poetry Month, this two-part series is entitled “Art Inspires Poetry,” and it’s designed to promote and encourage creative writing and artistic expression.

The first session, on April 22, will feature “Photo Poems” with Poet Daniel Kantak and Printmaker, Artist, and Teacher Lawrence Barone. The second session, on April 29, will feature Poet Daniel Kantak and Fine Artist Marina Loew.

The Great Lakes Poetry Series is open to the public, ages 16 and up, with a registration cost of $5, which covers all workshop materials and registration.
