The Little Theatre of Watertown will present a production of “Little Women” on Friday and Saturday, Nov 17 and 18, at 7 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Ballroom, at 103 West Main Street.
Louisa May Alcott’s classic story follows the March sisters as they mature from childhood to young womanhood during the American Civil War era. Audiences of all generations will enjoy acquainting—or reacquainting—themselves with the sisters: Meg, the eldest and fairest; Jo, the high-spirited tomboy; Beth, the shy peacemaker; and Amy, the vain artist.
Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc, of Denver, this production is adapted from Louisa May Alcott’s novel by Scott David. The Little Theatre of Watertown will feature Emma Heflin, Trinity Tyler, Emma LaRose, and Jessica Patterson as the four sisters.
Tickets for “Little Women” are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military members, and $10 for students and members of the Little Theatre of Watertown.
In addition to the Friday and Saturday evening productions, the Sackets Harbor Ballroom will host a special Sunday afternoon production on Nov 19, beginning at 1 pm with a formal tea. Tickets for the tea plus the show are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors, military, students, and members of the Little Theatre of Watertown.
