The Little Theatre of Watertown will present a special afternoon production of “Little Women” on Sunday, Nov 19, beginning at 1 pm with a formal tea, at the Sackets Harbor Ballroom, at 103 West Main Street.
Louisa May Alcott’s classic story follows the March sisters as they mature from childhood to young womanhood during the American Civil War era. Audiences of all generations will enjoy acquainting—or reacquainting—themselves with the sisters: Meg, the eldest and fairest; Jo, the high-spirited tomboy; Beth, the shy peacemaker; and Amy, the vain artist.
Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc, of Denver, this production is adapted from Louisa May Alcott’s novel by Scott David. The Little Theatre of Watertown will feature Emma Heflin, Trinity Tyler, Emma LaRose, and Jessica Patterson as the four sisters.
Those who attend the Sunday production have the option to attend a formal tea prior to the show, and members of the Little Theatre of Watertown who attend the tea will receive a commemorative tea cup.
Tickets for the “Little Women” production only are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military members, and $10 for students and members of the Little Theatre of Watertown. Tickets for the show and the afternoon tea are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors, military, students, and members of the Little Theatre of Watertown. Tickets for the show plus the tea must be purchased on or before Wednesday, Nov 15.
