Music in Art Show at the Arts Center

The Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) will showcase a new Music in Art Show this fall opening on Saturday, Sept 6, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Arts Center, at 119 West Main Street.

The Music in Art Show will showcase art by AANNY members in both 2D and 3D mediums, depicting music-related subjects including dancers, musical instruments, musicians, and more. For its opening on Saturday, Sept 6, the show will feature live music from 1 to 4 pm. Destiny Myrick will create a calming atmosphere with a crystal bowl performance at 1 pm, ukulele aficionados the Fun Strummers will perform at 2 pm, and Gary Walts will finish off the live music segment with his “heavy mellow” guitar tunes at 3 pm.

The Sackets Harbor Arts Center will display works from the Music in Art Show throughout September and October, and the public can view works from the show on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Admission to the show is free, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
