Celebrate New York State’s diverse history on this Path Through History Day in Sackets Harbor on Saturday, June 17, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, located at 504 West Main Street.

This event is one in a series of free Living History events at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield throughout the summer, which began on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29) and continues through New York State’s Official War of 1812 Observance Day on Saturday, September 30.

For the NYS Path Through History Day, join the historic site’s 1812 Marine Guard volunteer living history presenters, who will be encamped in the Memorial Tree Grove, portraying aspects of life during the War of 1812. See the past come to life, and discover the stories of those who braved New York State’s northern frontier more than 200 years ago in war and peace.

This series is sponsored by the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site’s Battlefield Alliance. For the full 2023 Living History Summer Series schedule, please visit our 1812 Living History page. And for more information on this event, or any in the series, please contact Constance Barone at 315-646-3634 or visit the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site website.
