Ribbon Cutting at the Bandstand

The Village of Sackets Harbor will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the official reopening of the Sentinel Bandstand, Market Square Park, and the village’s waterfront projects on Tuesday, May 13, at 11 am, at the Bandstand in downtown Sackets Harbor.

The ribbon cutting celebrates the conclusion of an extensive renovation project on the village’s waterfront, funded in part with a $2.5 million Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) grant from New York State.

Residents and visitors can now take advantage of the following improvements:

• New public docks for daytime use,
• Two improved boat launches,
• An ADA-compliant kayak launch,
• Repairs to the Sentinel Bandstand, and
• Improvements to the sidewalks, landscaping, and furnishings in and around Market Square Park.
