Rugby Tournament at Madison Barracks

The Barracks Rangers Rugby Football Club (BRRFC) will hold “The Tournament” on Saturday, March 2, beginning at 9:30 am, at the Madison Barracks Parade Grounds, in Sackets Harbor.

The BRRFC’s home pitch is Sackets Harbor’s Madison Barracks, which is hosting the event. The Tournament includes rugby 10s matches for women, men, and men 35 and older, and they’ll have food, drinks, and merchandise available at the pitch from Boots Brewing Company, 10th Mountain Whiskey and Spirits, and City Dawgz of NNY.

The club invites the public to come out and support them, while learning more about this unique sport.

The Barracks Rangers Rugby Football Club was established in 1993 and is comprised of active duty and veteran military service members. The players represent Fort Drum and the entire North Country in rugby union competitions across New England through USA Rugby, the governing body for the sport in the United States.
