Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon

Prep for the Boston Marathon with a challenging qualifier race at the 4th annual Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, Sept 6, at 7 am, beginning and ending at the Madison Barracks Polo Grounds in Sackets Harbor.

After a fantastic debut in 2023 with more than 500 participants and increasing numbers of runners each year since, the Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon is back for its fourth year! The organizers have designed a scenic race course that travels through the picturesque Village of Sackets Harbor and along Lake Ontario. The course is an out-and-back route with a gentle elevation gain, which then heads back downhill towards the finish line.

The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier, and both the full and the half marathon are certified courses. The full marathon course is 26.2 miles, and the half marathon is 13.1 miles.

Registration is $129 for the half marathon and $139 for the full marathon, and discounts are available for early registration and military/first responders. Please see the race website for all the details on the available discounts.
