The Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site will host Paint Flowers and Leaves, a Saturday Crafts at the Pavilion event, on Saturday, June 10, from 10 am to noon, at the Battlefield Pavilion, located just off Hill Street (by the big red barn).
Find some inspiration in the colorful flowers at the Commandant’s House flower garden and at the pavilion parking lot entrance, and then try your hand at painting wooden flowers and leaves at the pavilion.
The Saturday Crafts at the Pavilion series is new this year and is designed to engage children in creating a souvenir while learning a bit of history. The events and craft materials are free, and the public is welcome to attend.
For more information about this event or the Saturday Crafts at the Pavilion series, please contact the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site by phone at 315-646-3634 or visit the Events section of their website.
