Summer Story Walk

The Sackets Harbor Battlefield will host a Summer Story Walk, sponsored by Hay Memorial Library, on Saturday, July 8, from 10 to 1 pm, featuring the children’s book, “Birdies, Birdies,” by Stephen Cohen.

Walk along the outside of Memorial Grove at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site to learn about birds from around the world with this fun children’s story! The Story Walk begins at the main entrance of the Battlefield, and continues along the walking path with pages to read at points along the way.
