Total Solar Eclipse 2024

Join us in Sackets Harbor to see the moon perfectly cover the sun in the sky during the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, on Monday, April 8!

Sackets is right in the center of the path of totality, which means the sun will go from partially eclipsed to 100% eclipsed in Sackets over the course of the afternoon. We’ll be celebrating this extremely rare and awe-inspiring occurrence with educational programming and events leading up to April 8th and official viewing areas and festivities on the date itself.

We’ve already begun planning for the occasion, and we’ll be announcing more details as we get closer. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to come to Sackets Harbor early and stay late to be part of this amazing natural phenomenon!
