Botany and Animal Watercolor Class

The Sackets Harbor Arts Center will host a series of Botany and Animal Watercolor Classes on Fridays in September, beginning on Sept 1 and continuing through Sept 22, from 10:30 am to 12 pm each class, at the AANNY building, at 119 West Main Street.
Instructor Olivia Farrar will introduce participants to the history and techniques of watercolors, using animals, plants, leaves, and more as subject matter. Each week features a different theme:
- Sept 1: Flowers, autumn leaves, and botany
- Sept 8: Animals
- Sept 15: Pumpkins, fall gourds, and botany
- Sept 22: Halloween-themed animals
The watercolor classes are open to anyone aged 10 or older. The fee is $50 for Arts Association of Northern New York (AANNY) members and $55 for non-members for the full series. Individual classes are $18 for AANNY members and $20 for non-members.
Participants should register with the Arts Center in advance. The Arts Center and the instructor will provide all the necessary materials.
