Visiting Sackets Harbor by boat is now easier than ever after an extensive renovation project on the waterfront in 2023! Among the many improvements you’ll see in the harbor and at Market Square Park are:
- Two improved boat launches on either side of the Sentinel Bandstand,
- An ADA-accessible kayak launch directly in front of the Bandstand, and
- 15 dock slips that are open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the 15 dock slips can be used for up to 4 hours at a time, and electricity is available upon request for a fee. The Village will post signs this season with the dock rules in Market Square Park and facing the water for boaters to see as they arrive.
All these free facilities are for day use only, and they’re designed to help our residents and visitors enjoy the harbor and waterfront as much as possible. Plus, there’s plenty of car and boat trailer parking nearby, and it’s all within easy walking distance to downtown Sackets Harbor!
