Augustus Sacket
Located in village founder Augustus Sacket’s historic home, the Sackets Harbor Visitor Center offers exhibits highlighting local history, key sites and architectural features, and the story of the village. Travel and tourism information is available on-site for Sackets Harbor area attractions, tours, and events, as well as travel information for the Greater 1000 Islands and North Country regions.

The Sackets Harbor Visitor Center is open from May through October in 2025. Here’s our complete schedule for the spring, summer, and fall:
