Inaugural 1812 Gridiron Shootout

The Village of Sackets Harbor will host the inaugural 1812 Gridiron Shootout on Saturday and Sunday, Aug 5 and 6, at the Madison Barracks Parade Grounds.
In July, 1812 Sports and Entertainment held their annual 1812 Lacrosse Shootout Tournament, with boys teams playing on July 8 and 9 and girls teams playing on July 15 and 16. This year, the group has extended the tournament season with a new event, called the 1812 Gridiron Shootout.
The 1812 Gridiron Shootout will be a 7 vs 7 football tournament, with up-tempo game play for modified, Junior Varsity, and Varsity aged players. The event will offer players the opportunity to further develop their offensive and defensive skills prior to the official start of their high school pre-season.
The 1812 Shootout series is presented by Ontario Bay Lax, Maverik Lacrosse, Cascade Lacrosse, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
