The Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site will present a geology talk on “The North Country: 12,500 Years Before Us — Geology and Native People” on Thursday, April 23, at 6:30 pm, at the former Union Hotel building, at the corner of West Main and Ray Streets in Sackets Harbor.
Local Avocational Archeologist Ken Knapp, who serves at conservator of the Knapp Family Collection Archives and the North Country Archeology Center, will lead the talk. This free event is organized by the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, and the public is welcome to attend.
