Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon

Prep for the Boston Marathon with a challenging qualifier race at the Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, Sept 1, at 7 am, beginning and ending at the Madison Barracks Polo Grounds in Sackets Harbor.

After a fantastic debut in 2023 with more than 500 participants, the Sackets Harbor Marathon and Half Marathon is back for its second year! The organizers worked hard to design a scenic race course that travels through the picturesque Village of Sackets Harbor and along Lake Ontario. The course is an out-and-back route with a gentle elevation gain, which then heads back downhill towards the finish line.

The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier, and both the full and the half marathon are certified courses. The full marathon course is 26.2 miles, and the half marathon is 13.1 miles.

Registration is $99 for the half marathon and $109 for the full marathon, and discounts are available, based on how early participants register. Please see the race website for details on the available discounts.
