Big Trucks and Tractors at Old McDonald’s Farm

Old McDonald’s Farm in Sackets Harbor will host its annual Big Trucks and Tractors weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 3, 4, and 5, at 14369 County Route 145. The farm is open on Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm, on Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Big Trucks and Tractors are back for three days in 2026. In addition to everything visitors can normally see and do during summer days on the farm, this weekend will include a display of more than 100 pieces of farm, construction, and heavy equipment. This is the one time of year that nearly every green space across the farm is filled with machinery!

Here’s a sample of some of the specialized equipment Old McDonald’s Farm will have on display:
  • Large modern tractors
  • Combine
  • Chopper
  • Grain cart
  • Mowers
  • Baler
  • Excavator
  • Side-by-sides
  • Tractor trailer
  • Feed delivery truck
  • Dump truck
  • Pick-up trucks

Admission is $15.95 per person for ages 2 and up, and it includes visits with more than 200 friendly farm animals, hayrides, bounce pads, putting holes, pig races, zip line rides for kids, human hamster wheels, slides, dozens of photo ops, and much more. In July and August, Old McDonald’s Farm is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays, from 10 am to 5 pm (and until 6 pm on Saturdays).
