The Village of Sackets Harbor and the Sackets Harbor Historical Society invite the North Country to our community’s July 4th festivities on Saturday and Sunday, July 4 and 5. We hope you’ll join us in Sackets Harbor for this celebration weekend, commemorating Independence Day and the 250th Anniversary of the United States’ founding!
On Saturday, July 4th, head to Sackets Harbor for a full day of events, including:
- 9:30 AM: Kids’ Bicycle Parade through downtown
- 10 AM–1PM: Games and Activities on the Visitor Center Lawn
- 10:30 AM: Story Time and Flag Walk on the Visitor Center Lawn
- 10:30 AM: Town Crier reading founding documents at Market Square Park
- 11 AM: Flutes on the Fourth at the Battlefield
- 11 AM–4 PM: Quilt Display and Raffle at the Visitor Center
- 11:30 AM: Honoring Veterans at the Village Docks
- 12 PM: Blessing of the Fleet at the Village Docks
- 12 PM–2 PM: Chicken BBQ with Apple Pie at the Sackets Harbor American Legion
- 1 PM–5 PM: Live Music, featuring the bands Quill & Plow and Let’s Cool One, at the Sentinel Bandstand on West Main Street
- 9:45 PM: Fireworks Display at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield
On Sunday, July 5th, come back to Sackets Harbor for more activities, including:
- 1 PM–3 PM: Community Picnic at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield
- 2 PM: Sing Along with SHRUGS Ukulele Group at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield
- 3 PM–5 PM: Concert on the Waterfront, featuring the Syracuse University Brass Ensemble, at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield
